I couldn't get a great feed on the video-but this gave me some great ideas for social studies. I am always worried about boring the kids with the read and recite method. Do you have anymore information about the strategy used in that first video-looks like you know where the good sources are!
ReplyDeleteI found the elementary examples to be helpful in sparking ideas...but I wish I could find some secondary examples (especially for math) to show my teachers who don't have quite the creative ability to apply "little kid stuff" to a high school classroom...any ideas besides TeacherTube? I couldn't find any there.
ReplyDeleteI've also tried United Streaming but didn't find anything there. I'll let you know if I do come across any.
ReplyDeleteI love TeacherTube. It's a great resource. I found a few constructivist clips there, but I'll have to go back and look for the ones you suggested. I'm sure they're great. I'll let you know what I think.
